Lindsey Peterson has been dancing to the beat of her own drum since she was born. During her youth she studied at The Dance Place in Colby, KS under the instruction of Colleen Barrett.  Lindsey enjoyed learning many forms of dance including ballet, hip-hop, jazz/lyrical, and tap!

Lindsey danced under professional instruction consistently from age 7 to age 18 and continues to dance through life every day. Lindsey was the captain of the dance team at Colby High School for four years and then earned full ride to join the dance team at Colby Community College.

As an adult, she began teaching at CATTS Gymnastics and Dance in Wamego, KS. In 2017, Lindsey and her family relocated to Norton, KS with a dream of starting her own studio. She enjoys her family, friends, and watching young children succeed in life with the gift of dance.

OUR INSTRUCTORS

My name is Kendra Lowry and dance has been a passion of mine since I was 4 years old. I started dance at a studio in California. I was a part of the studio for 6 years. We traveled all over California to attend competitions and recitals. After moving to Colorado, I was a part of my High School Dance Team. After graduation I attended Kansas State where I took a few dance classes while completing my degree in Education. I graduated in 2016 and have been the NCHS Dance Coach for 3 year’s.

My name is Shelby Willour and I have always had a great enthusiasm and appreciation for expressing oneself through the art of music and dance. I started dancing at a very young age and knew it was something I wanted to continue into adulthood. I danced my Senior year in High School and served as a cheerleader for four years right here in our hometown of Norton. Upon graduating High School, I received a full ride scholarship to Barton Community College where I performed on the dance team with a main focus on creative movement, jazz, hip hop and sone ballet. I am currently coming up on my second year of teaching Early Childhood Development at Eisenhower Elementary School and in my free time I enjoy following my kids all over to sports, my two big silly dogs and anything that has to do with camping and fishing. I believe that through my passion for both teaching and dance, I can help to bring the beauty of expression through music and dance to our younger generation.
